Access violation error
I get an "Access violation at address XXXXXX. Write of address XXXXXX" when trying to install it. What is going on?
Re: Access violation error
Usually, that's not enough information. What is your OS, what service pack you have installed, how much memory, what CPU do you have? At what point do you get the Access Violation (i.e. 15% of the installation) or when you execute the file you get the Access Violation immediatelly?baterax wrote:I get an "Access violation at address XXXXXX. Yes, Wanderer is right. Tell me where and when it happens.
FYI, I fixed a similar bug. It happens if you have two identicals files with different names.
If you fix the bad named file, rc will 'merge' both files in one. This raise a AV, due to some log code I added. Note that this is safe for the files.
Maybe you met the same problem ?
