Hello RomCenter!

Why is this happening?
Using RomCenter on ArchLinux with Wine (WINEARCH=64bit prefix).

Same SO and same settings on another computer RomCenter works good.

Don't know what to do!

Well, "Out Of Memory" should be clear enough. Maybe the computer actually does not have enough memory to support what you're trying to do.

Two questions would be: do the two computers have the same amount of memory and are you trying to scan the same datafile with the same rom folders? If you wish to do a proper comparison between the two computers, you should make sure that you are doing the same thing on similar hardware resources.

If you eliminate that possibility, then there is a chance that the combination of datafile and romfiles you use has caused a hidden bug to appear, either in RC or in Wine. In any case, since in that case it would be a developer issue, only Eric could help.

Hey Wanderer!
Have a look at my previous posts where I was running RomCenter on a miniPC with 4GB or RAM.
Slow, but everything was working, also with a lots of rompaths added.

Now the problem is on my main PC with 16GB of ram!!
And on my main PC - for now - I have only two rompaths added...
