Possible bug in 4.0b7

OK, can't take an oath on what exactly happened here but i believe one of two things happened:

1. When i loaded a b6 DB for the first time in b7, RC performed the conversion but it also changed the rom merge mode from Split to Un-merged.
2. After the conversion of the DB to b7, when loading an additional path at the settings/romsets screen and assigning it as a Split Samples path, RC also changed the rom merge mode from Split to Un-merged.

Possibly #2 has happened but unfortunately i don't have the previous DB so i can't verify it. Trying to reproduce it with the existing DB but no luck.

I found other possible bugs:
1- all roms in "bios".zip and CHD folders are marked how "not used in this file" or "not needed here";
2- this:

Creating new database pS_Snap_174 from datafile pS_Snap_174.dat
Loading datafile pS_Snap_174.dat
Dat in Mame162 format
Copy Database template
Importing 58618 roms
Rebuilding and reordering database. Please wait...
Analysing roms...
Error: validation error for column "ROMS"."ROMSIZE", value "*** null ***"
At procedure 'P_GR_TRANSFERTGAMEROMS' line: 130, col: 3
At procedure 'P_LOADDATAFILE' line: 218, col: 1

Sorry, i forgot....
bios and chd roms are marked how unnecessary only in samples split mode.
