Other than manually editing the dat, is there any way to filter these out so that the ROM for the full game is used instead?

This is using the no-intro p/clone xml from dat-o-matic:
There's quite a few where the demo is chosen instead of the the actual game, I guess it's because of the ordering in the dat file.
Other than manually editing the dat, is there any way to filter these out so that the ROM for the full game is used instead?
