Post Moderation for Registered but no Anon?

Hey all!

No big deal here just something that boggled my mind. My first day here I posted a few topics and posts without registering, just typing my name in the box and they were instantly posted.

Then I registered and now when logged in, every time I post it goes into moderation (needs approved by admin).

This sure seems like odd/backward behavior???

Well, spammers spam forums in order to post links in them. Anonymous users can't post links (or they shouldn't be able anyway). They have to register in order to post links and still, that's not possible until they have posted at least 3 or 5 normal posts (approved by the mods) to the forums. If they act suspicious at first, the mods will ban them so it makes it more difficult for them to spam.
