problem 3.71 and mess 148u3

hello,

i checked my mess rom files and got some problem with some results.
for example c64.zip - i have almost all files but 901229-04.uab5 is listed "red" - missing.
after searching the web from button to top, i did a 'messui.exe -listxml' and was searching for
"901229-04.uab5" and this is the result:
<rom name="901229-04.uab5" bios="r4" size="8192" status="nodump" region="ucd5" offset="2000"/>

status is "nodump" so it falsely listed as "missing" in romcenter.

I'm not that sure, maybe i made a mistake, but it looks more like a problem of romcenter.

Mess is currently not fully supported. It will be improved in the future with the v4.

hello,

in the past i was using the feature of extracting DAT file from current mess version,
and this seems to be the problem.
I tested my set with another rommanger, and this one has the same problem.

but i found a dat file for Mess 0.152, which I importet in Romcenter and this shows very different result.

99.9% of the bios files are ok, just some nes_* with only sample files (.wav) are listed as "unknown".

2004 ok vs. 8 bad ( the wav files ). this is very cool

so romcenter 3.71 works as one can expect, if you find a good DAT file.
