Re: Database extension not supported. RC not starting.
Well, it seems pretty obvious. The database file you are trying to open must have .rdt as extension. You probably accidentally renamed it and deleted the extension. I'm guessing it's "name" instead of "name.rdt".

Re: Try to delete database (Tab) in RC results in error then it closes
Hi.
Check the bug tracker. I think that has been reported before (possibly by me). Hopefully it will be fixed in the next version (whenever it is released).

Hi.
I'm guessing here but is the rom path by any chance greater that 260 characters? Is it on a network drive or local?

Hi there.
What happens if you select that folder and "fix" it? Won't RC put everything in its own zip file?

OK, i have tried two different things and they both failed. 1. Rename "Amstrad CPC - Educational (TOSEC-v201 5 -05-07_CM).rdt" to "Amstrad CPC - Educational (TOSEC-v2015-05-07_CM) _TMP .rdt" 2. Re: Romcenter 4.2.beta2
Hi Wanderer, When you update a db, you're supposed to change the name (version changes). This is the current behaviour. Hi Eric, So, what you say is that i should rename the DB before executing the command. Something like: RENAME "Amstrad CPC - Educational (TOSEC-v2015-05-07_CM).dat" to "Amstrad CP...

Hi there. The next version of RC (4.2) will have an 64-bit flavor. Indeed Eric had posted it somewhere.

Re: Cannot run Romcenter 4.1.1 in Windows 10 x64: missing MSVCR100.dll
According to this , MSVCR100.dll is a file included in the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable. You have to download and install this. You should probably install the 32-bit version because RC 4.1.1 is 32-bit, even though your windows version may be 64-bit. Try it and post the results. EDIT: T...

Re: Export "Original" ROM list to XML or copy files to new folder
Right, I can do that (did do that) but then what? I still have 100's or 1000's of roms that I don't want in my rom directory. I'm trying to either get a filename export of the roms I want in the database, or a way to move the desired roms to a new location for actual gameplay. OK, i see. Try the fo...

Re: Export "Original" ROM list to XML or copy files to new folder
Hello.
In the process of creating a new database for your dat file (or mame.exe), try the following: go to Filter settings / Regions and check the "one game one rom" option. IIRC, this can be used to filter the imported games and keep only "Originals".

Hi Eric. Don't know why, but it took about 1-2 minutes to download and the file was corrupted. I tried it twice in two different days. It seems that the download is not completed normally. The two files i downloaded had the same contents, but one of them had more data than the other. EDIT: OK, third...

Hi Eric. Have you had a chance to check if the "update" function works the way i'm trying it? Does it have a problem or it's my fault?
