Tried several time with not luck, still the same result :/
I've even tried with the latest mame version, I was using 0.216 before. It is possible to reproduce this issue with a folder with just three roms (vr, model1io, m1comm). Fix will merge into vr the content of the other two roms.

Hi and welcome here.

Yes there is. What you've already done! :?

Well, maybe i'm missing something. Try creating a new data file and verify that rom and bios are indeed in split mode, then add the rom paths and see what happens.

If that doesn't work, maybe Eric can help...

Device roms merged into game roms

Hi,
I am trying to validate a small subset of model 1 roms using romcenter 4.0.1, I've created a new database from the mame exe without setting any filter, under settings I've set both rom and bios merge mode to split. After the scan, game roms are marked yellow and the proposed fix is to merge the content of the device roms (model1io and m1comm) into them, but I would like to keep them separated. Is there a way to do that?
