New version doesn't work in Vista

Hello,
I cant run the new version in vista. It crashes before it runs.

I'm not running Vista, but XP.SP1, but it crashes also.
AppName: romcenter.exe AppVer: 3.0.0.0 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1106 Offset: 00013887

I have the same problem and the win xp sp2 compatiblility mode doesn't solve the problem also.

I too faced the same problem under Win2KSP4. I have found a workaround though.
The crash occurs on a clean installation. If you install it over RC3a4, it works fine.
