Still some silly problems....

Post by Ad_Enuff »

Eric,

I'm currently using your latest BETA 3, but upon using clrMAMEpro and then verifying my ROMS using RC we still get a few zip files that just won't go away and have no idea why! They appear as YELLOW as wrongly named.

they are:

galpanib.zip
jdreddb.zip
natodefa.zip
vaportrp.zip
wotwc.zip

RC and clr surely must be exactly the same once verification has taken place? So why does RC show a few ROM sets still yellow?

Those sets should not physically exist since they contain no ROMs different to the parent. However, Roman has forced CMPro to create them so that the number of ZIPs matches the number of games+resource. You just have to live with it unfortunately (i.e. either CMPro showing 5 missing ZIPs or RomCenter showing 5 wrong name ZIPs). ;)

It's anyone using CMPro and RomCenter that tends to spot it.

I checked with the galpanib.zip clone.

Romcenter correctly handles it, the problem is, like Logiqx said, that no roms are specific to galpanib.
The zip file won't be created during a fix operation because all roms needed for galpanib are also needed in the main set, and are moved here.

But, if galpanib.zip already exist, or if you manually create the empty zip, romcenter will populate it with the correct roms.

I found a new bug producing a gpf during the test above. It is now fixed.

Would you like an updated beta 4 ???
