Handle leak in Romcenter v2.70

Post by ska »

Hello,

when you command Romcenter v2.7.0.8 to process some ROMs in a directory, the number of handles Romcenter allocates increases, but they are never freed; e.g. I ended up with 20,000 allocated handles, then there was a GP fault.

Taskinfo (http://www.iarsn.com/taskinfo.html) lists those handles as type "Thread".

Bye,

Are you using the FINAl version of RC 2.70? There were a lot of BETA's.

Download 2.70 FINAL and install that and try again.

IF it still continues come back and post your findings.

Thanks

I installed taskinfo and it seems that handles are not properly released. I'm trying to trace the problem, as it also happens on rc 3 beta... :(

Anyway, thanks for the post !
