GUI layout changes are not saved?

Hi,
first off all great kudos Eric to this great piece of software and to the final release of 2.70. It WAS worth waiting.
One small thing:
If I do GUI changes, i. e. move around some panels, this does not seem to get saved; the old GUI layout will always be there.
Could you please either fix it or tell me how to make my GUI layout changes permanent?
