About database tree design

Post by Wanderer »

Hi Eric.

Although i like the new "flat" database tree look with zip names (under the "all" branch), i'm missing RC2's "grouped" way of displaying the names of the originals (the actual names, not the zip names) and when the branch was expanded see all the clones. It was more convenient if you wish to see all the roms associated with a game and its clones regardless of the mode (split / merged).

Is the database tree in its final form? Are you planning to add something similar to RC2 in the future?

I will add grouped games display, probably in a specific node (instead of a switch).
Note that all database nodes display roms regardless of the roms/bios mode. Only files nodes are impacted.
