Hi

I noticed that Pacman (midway) was missing from my list of available games in MameUI32 0.136u3, however within Romcenter the set is complete :toobad:

I was able to launch the game through 'Maximus Arcade' FE and found that I was missing the following roms:

pacman.5e
pacman.5f
82s123.7f
82s126.4a
82s126.1m
82s126.3m

Is this a .dat file error?

There are two distinct problems here.
pacman(midway) is what I call a 'ghost game'. It means all roms of this clone can be found in other clones. pacman midway does not have specific roms.

The six first roms are coming from the main set puckman.
The last four belongs to pac-man (Midway), but not only. You can find rom 6e in pac-man midway with speedup hack, rom 6f is also in new puck-X etc...
In short, you can create an empty pacman.zip file, and fix it to make it complete. This option is available in romcenter (pref/fix/create ghost games).

The second problem is probably a path problem. As pacman midway is a clone of puckman, you must have puckman.zip in your emulator rom paths.

Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time.

And if you have anything to do with the development of RC, may I congratulate you/thank you for a superb life-saver of an application!

:super:

Well, he is the developer, as his nickname suggests... ;)

Actually, his nickname suggests that he is 'RomCenter' (if we want to be a smart-arse)...
