Here's the Story:
Several months ago upon paying closer attention to the revised GoodTools License I discovered I was illegally providing RomCenter datafiles based on these renaming utilities. I immediately removed them from my site and requested permission from Cowering to continue offering these dats to RomCenter users.
Cowering posted the following response to my query in his Forum:
"No datfile will ever be as good as a goodtool. I'm no longer willing to license derivatives that are not in someway superior to my tools. A Goodtool (with a frontend if needed), is the best overall solution to renaming."
That says it all. No more datafiles.
RomCenter Dats based on GoodTools are no more.

Re: RomCenter Dats based on GoodTools are no more.
BTW sry for that up (détérage de qualitay ^^), but I was looking for .dat file from goodtool (the N64 one), want to use it via romcenter cause I don't like their good64.exe things (command line ain't user friendly and English isn't my natural language).
So this 2K6 post about the fact that they don't want share their .dat files any more except via their rom manager utility answer me.

Have to agree. I have not used Good dats for some time now. No-Intro is awesome.Briareos wrote:This is why No Intro is popular
