hi Eric, here is the brazilian translator, i'd like to give you a hint about the server: it doesnt support the resume of downloads for what i saw, maybe you'd want to put it in a free virtual drive like this one? http://felipefpl.4shared.com it's where i put my files to avoid problems with deletion, lost of data in my computer, the place supports resume too. ;)

thanks for your work and your attention, the sooner i download romcenter i'll send the updated file.

PS: have 56 kbps sometimes is bad. ;)

Felipe,
Sorry for the download problems, but 11MB is not a big deal today, and by keeping files here, I can monitor what's happening and how many people are downloading :P
This is also easier to maintain.

(Waiting for your translation)

Felipe,
Sorry for the download problems, but 11MB is not a big deal today

when you are unfortunately on 56 kbps it is a big deal but i understand i'm the exception to the rule here. :P

and by keeping files here, I can monitor what's happening and how many people are downloading. This is also easier to maintain.

indeed, you got a point, the main reason was the resume support what it doesnt have here what makes the download harder to me in case it stops for no reason at all (like it happened here, i gave up and waited for a few days till saturday).

hi, i saw in the readme you want to make romcenter open source one day. I'd like to suggest to use google code to host romcenter since its interface is better in my opinion than sourceforge one, aside the fact a lot of guys from emulation scene are there. ;)

that's all, thanks for this proggie and because you worked a lot on it. :super:

Working again on Latinamerican translation. Glad to help again to the gaming community ^^. Soon you'll be able to download the spanish version.

Edit: Finally I did some cleanups and Spanish Version is avaiable finally. Remember to decompress it in:
C:\Program Files\Romcenter\locale

Disfrutenlo!

There is one detail that I think your program will be easy to correct.

It all starts when you add a roms folder, then view the list are:

Game badly named file, files with imcompleto roms available rom duplicate, etc.

The detail is specific on the "Play bad name," because what he does now is to confuse the name of the game on hard disk with the proposed program romcenter, what we should do is find the roms in the game if (name on disk hard) and not expected to find the name (name expected, which suggests roncenter).

I think it's a problem serious but easy to solve.

I hope you can help me correct this, thank you very much for everything.

In such a case could add an option for choosing it, to find and fix the missing roms, based on the name of the game is on the hard disk (name of the zip file or game folder) or proposed by the program roncenter.

Thank you.

:? Not sure to understand. Did you use google translate ?
Can you explain more precisely ?

La verdad que si use google.

The image you show them they can give a clearer idea of what I mean.

Image

Now finds and fixes RomCenter roms game based on the name proposed by RomCenter, and this is not always right, causing the game is corrupted or damaged.

This is because taken as a reference RomCenter rom file to decide which is the correct name of the game, but not considering that this rom can exist in many other games.

What I mean is that if they could add an option for choosing it, to find and fix the missing roms, based on the "name real of game" is on the hard disk (name of the zip file or folder of the game) or "name proposed by roncenter".

Thank you.

I see... anf that's the way romcenter work.
If no 'identifying roms' are found, filename is used to find the game.

But alphamc07 is not a game. See here for more infos.

alphamc07 I know that is not a game, only use it as an example to show what he meant, but that if it happens in many games. all this is with MAME games.

Thank you.

Can you give me a real example (a file name with the roms name inside ?)

continuous error

But that is a real example.
You do not need to see the roms that is inside the game, so you see the wrong things Propramme is suggesting.

Also, before suggesting a name you should first check if that game (so this has a size of zero or empty) if it exists in the list of mame games (which is obtained with the command-listxml mamep.exe) which was used as a database for RomCenter.

Have a nice day.

Romcenter first assumes the filename matches a real game name. If it does, it checks that at least one rom of that game is found in the zip.
If it doesn't work, it goes more deeper in the roms analysis to try to determine which game it is. At this point, the filename is useless.

If you notice a flaw on this method, please give me the filename and content to reproduce the behaviour.
