I'm not sure but it sounds like your not using the plugin or it's not installed. Go into your RomCenter directory - open the folder titled plugin - and make sure that you have a file called genesis.dll. If its there try opening the GoodGen datafile with a text editor (you'll find it in the RomCenter...

RomCenter is basically only a renamer. What you need is a tool called RomBuild. You can find it at Loqix page.

If I'm not mistaken that dll is not compatible with RomCenter 2.62.
To use the plugin that came with RomCenter open the datafile with a text editor and rename this line:
plugin=nes11b.dll
to this:
plugin=nes.dll
or you can try this datafile. (link broken)

I am wondering, why do you make a difference between RomCenter and uCON64 datafiles? They are the same datafiles. The only difference is the naming of the datafile itself. Since uCON64 requires a prefix and RomCenter does not. Now that I think about it there really is no reason to have seperate dat...
