Get the right dat file then check if you have the right roms.
Romcenter does rely on the dat files to recognize them...

Use the 'Mame' datfile, not the supplement files from the zip. That should fix it. (i hope)

Maybe its time for RC to move on sometime in the future to support SHA1/MD5 checksums? (with even more CHD's on the way and CD-CHD support on the other hand). As i am not a coder myself i can only imagine how hard to implement such a feature is... And time is sure another main reason i guess.. Any c...

You could try the http://www.retrogames.com MSB and read http://www.mameworld.net/easyemu

That should do the trick IMO.

Re: NoNameMame will not MAME Import

ultimatepump wrote:Hello,

I am on Windows XP SP1 and I cannot get ANY version of NoNameMame to import into Romcenter. Romcenter will not create a Dat file.

Can anyone please help?
Would you mind trying a normal (http://www.mame.net) build and look if it works for you?

They will be done when Logiqx finds the time to create them. In the meantime you could use the Mame.exe as RC input.

Could you test if the normal Mame (from http://www.mame.net) still works? If so it would look more like a No Name Mame problem, but i dont have the time to check that for myself.

Look harder, Google is your friend. Also for checking your rom - use Romcenter or Clrmame with a datfile for the emulator you want to use. Most of them are up to date with Mame standards...

Ill lock this now and hope Eric agrees with me here, as no rom requests are allowed here.
