Given theres been no updates i had to relook at other managers, we moved to Rom Vault, its 64bit, alot of documenation, works very different than RC but does work. Given the newer hardware i now have and real fast SSDs ive managed to organise all my ROMS in under a day.

Think ive seen this, when creating a dump of ROMS required had to check that "no dump available", so i suppose should be green if the game works.

This was working ok, however i generally add ZIP files, then "relead" the path, however now nothing shows up (all tabs are 0), if i remove the path and re-add it, they all show up (also if i show it in explorer it shows the diles), it also appears once that path is re-added it not updating all ...

Downloaded and installed... will try and run some tests over the weekend.

I can do some testing as i would like to test with split / merged etc.. especially with samples and CHD, so it would be a good test, i can also backup what i have as i know they work (I have the space to do that).

My C drive has alot of space (over 200Gb free, games on on drive D which is over 6Tb, having over 2Tb free, however my RC temp drive is D), it seems to do it when many games are trying to be fixed (over 1000 at a time), so the 32bit issue is likely the problem.

I have a few tabs open (databases?), i want to close and dont use, however i get a weird "NullReferenceException Object" error (see image), then RC closes, do how do i remove these?

Ive had similar issues, i used to create a text file with the ZIP file names of every missing game, create an empty zip file then add those to RC before it would fill them with most of the ROM it required, allowing me to know what was missing.

Samples do not have checksums, CHD files dont seem to work in ZIP files, only folders, so whats everyone doing with these?

I can merge samples which kinda fixes those, but my CHD files generally get deleted as a ZIP file and folder being the same name do not get merged, and if they do (in to ...

For the databases that dont work, i dont see any *.old file (they appear to only exist for the working ones)... the broken ones i see *.dat (2018 date) and *.rdt (which appears to be the files in RC)...

I could just send over the files that appear to not work and you can take a look?

Did an inplace upgrade to version 4.1.1, last time i use this was 2018 i think, version 4.0.1 (or something), now i have the error shown when it opens and i try to click on a project that was open before.... any ideas?

Found it, its under UPDATE, where i can select another (updated) emulator, this appears to allow me to update the database for roms needed in that emulator.

Usable to replicated it, i am sure it was either copying fies in to the archive or out, however the game is now fixed (rezipped it), if i come across the issue again will send a link to the file in question

Getting this with a zip file, the file and its contents are fine, and unzipped it and rezipped it via Windows.... Its a large file (15mb or more).

There was nothing in the ZIP file, for some reason it decides the ZIP file is the wrong name (not based on the ZIP contents).

over 30000 files selected, it needs to "rename" about 15000 as they have _0.

If the error is left on the screen it appears to continue with the renaming / merging, however it appears to do this alot when rename / merge files are needed... ive selected 60 and 300 and still get ...

Not looked at the software, however i was going to ask how to manage more than one emulator....

This seems to work, what also works is right click "reload path".

Is the software storing some sort of unique ID for the path?
