What is the use of having a combo box for selecting a path in "Preferences\Romsets - Samples split mode"?

In sample split mode, samples are stored in a sample path. You select this path at this place.
If you fix samples, they are moved to this folder and fixed there.

With a combo box? Shouldn't it have a "browse" button which would open a browse dialog or something (like in "add rom path")?
