Hi, I'm using the new beta of this month. I downloaded the dat for romcenter from http://www.logiqx.com/Dats/MAMESuperSetSuppS/ and I did a new lad games from a data list on the file MAME SuperSet v0.120 (Split-merged MAME Supplement).dat. Then on load I get..

Code: Select all

Refresh database status
Done
Execution time: 0h 0m 1s
Close C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\romcenter\datas\MAME SuperSet v0.120 (Split-merged MAME Supplement).rdt
Open C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\romcenter\datas\MAME SuperSet v0.120 (Split-merged MAME Supplement).rdt
Client db: WI-V6.3.3.12981 Firebird 2.0
MAME SuperSet v0.120 (Split-merged MAME Supplement) database version = 3.0080
Loading gameslist
172 games loaded.
Updating games status
Status updated for 172 items.
Updating fileslist
Done
Why do I not show all of the games? There should be hundreds of games no??

Sorry I was not logged in and could not edit..

If I wanted to use the same renaming as CMPro would I then need the "MAME dat for ROMCenter" All i know about my set is that its split. And all I really need are my chd's renamed.

The MAME SuperSet is a datafile which contains ROMs other than just MAME (e.g. Nebula, Kawaks, etc). You have downloaded the supplement which is to be used in addition to a MAME set. The supplement doesn't contain any MAME ROMs (hence only 172 games in your case).

It sounds like you have completely the wrong datafile for your needs. You need the regular MAME one:

You can also import games list from your mame executable. No need of datafile in this case.
ClrMame datafiles can also be used with rc.
