..Hi!

I have a very weird situation.

All my roms are organised like this: /roms/NAME OF SYSTEM

I choose my datfile (in this case, trying to fix my neogeo roms)
And dragged all the /roms/ folder to romcenter.

HOWEVER, it's showing ALL my roms as MISSING (red chip icon). However, I can tell you they do work (most of them, anyways) and are clearly not missing... what the heck am I doing wrong?
I'm trying to rename and clean them for FBAXXX for my xbox....

Any ideas?

Thanks
Nic

data file wrong, or your rom sets wrong (sets working in emulator does not always mean they are correct)
for your instance, maybe data file has bug. neogeo system has a bios set, but some data files do not split it from game sets, such as the data file generated by winkawaks.

MMhh, it makes sense, however I'd be surprised if my 281 roms were all incorrectly packed -

I've checked with the kawaks data file, neogeo and FBAxxx, none of them report the roms as working.

Looking into the rom details, I checked the aof3 - every file in the .zip matches what romcenter is looking for, however it is listed as missing... Could an incomplete Bios dump cause this?

Hmmm. Have you tried to drag the "/roms" or "/roms/NAME OF SYSTEM" folder? The correct action is the second. I don't think the first will work. Of course you have to have a valid data file.

Found the problem

Thanks for your help -

Turns out, for some reason, Romcenter wasnt using the correct BIOS rom because it was unzzipped - I re packed it and moved all 3 bioses to a different folder and re added that folder, it works now!

Thanks!
