Limiting files to check with romcenter

I have a question. I'm a new emulation/romcenter user and I'm trying to make a complete set of MAME without the *mature* games. I have almost finished getting my set together and I'm wondering if there is anyway to tell romcenter to ignore certain games(roms) in the datlist so I can get a clean rom scan (all green roms/files). I have the list of mature roms from mameworld and I didn't download them, but of coarse when I audit the games in romcenter I get red and yellow roms for those games. They are red when I didn't download them and they have no parent/bios relationships. Or yellow when they have parent/bios relationships. I hope this makes sense.
