in RomCenter 4 Beta 7 the options to Exclude: Preliminary Games and Imperfect Games, are enabled by default, and this cause RC to exclude some games that works perfectly in MAME.

imho, these options should not be enabled by default, because there are some preliminary games and imperfect games that works fine in MAME, some of these games have baddumps, use dummy files, or emulation is not at 100%, but the games works fine in MAME at least, so there is no reason to exclude them at all by default.

also seems that one of the exclude options: "Empty games" or "Not used roms", are causing issues with ST-V Bios ROM and the file stvbios.nv.

I agree. I tried to create a new mame set yesterday and i spent some time wondering what to do with those. I ended up disabling most of them.

Yes, these options are still in wip stage. I will disable them on next release.
