How do I sort roms by year

I'm a new user and I can't figure out how to sort game roms (NES in this case) by year in the list window. it has by name and size but not year how do I set that up?

To sort by year, click on the 'year' column header.
I'm not sure I understand... The picture is mame datafile, not nes with romcenter 3.00. (please update to romcenter 3.40)

I'm sorry, what I mean is, I want to organize my files by year. but my screen shows no option or 'year' column header that I can select.

I don't know what to do to make the year column show up.

Year info is available under the 'datafile' node, not paths nodes.

Yes, but when I select any of the datafile view options I don't see any years listed in the column. anything I can do about that?

There is no year column or it is empty ?
Year column should always be there under 'all games' for example. Could you post your image using the 'Img' button in the reply form ?
