Re: RomCenter 4.0.0 Beta 2
Just wondering, is there any new update to RomCenter expected to be released some time soon?

Fixed [4.0 b2.1] Difference in case of roms reported as 'Bad name'
First of all, I would like to say that since using the Beta 2.1, the efficiency/memory usage issues have greatly improved.
However, I don't know if this is a bug or a not yet implemented feature, but lots of rom sets are shown in yellow with the roms in uppercase showing as 'Bad name' even ...

Re: RC4 b1 performance issues or bugs ?
As an aside, is there a way to exclude device roms from the romsets (for example qsound)

Re: RC4 b1 performance issues or bugs ?
I was trying the RC4 beta 2. Crashed just as before.
I'm using MAME 0.162 and I've created the database fresh by importing from emulator.
I've attached the log as requested in 'C:\ProgramData\romcenter' as romcenter.7z as well as the firebird.log from the Romcenter program folder.

Re: RC4 b1 performance issues or bugs ?
Just wanted to point out a similar issue.
My specs:
Core i7-3770 CPU
16 GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (x64)
While creating DB with mame64 v0.162, I got an Out of Memory error and RC 4 crashed. At that moment the memory usage was around 1.3 Gigs. After trying to start over at some point, the ...

Re: RomCenter 3.53 "Samples" option grayed out.
Sorry, my mistake. It turns out my DAT file itself does not have samples.
For that matter, I was wondering why logiqx hasn't released his usual dats for mame 0.139.
anybody has a clue, or have I missed something.

RomCenter 3.53 "Samples" option grayed out.
Hi, I've just installed v3.53 but now I can't specify the samples folder as that part is grayed out.

Re: [BUG 3.31] CHD bad sha1
Same here. All the CHDs that are not bad dumps are flagged as bad.
Actually, Romcenter reports the CRC value of the CHD. AFAIK, the new CHD format has only SHA-1 values and no MD5 values as compared to the old CHD format. Must be due to arcade.dll plug-in I suppose.
