Thanks Eric,
talking about 3.x DB procedures. Do you plan to add the game flag "playable" somewhen? MAME does indicate on internal rom selection whether a game is actually playable at the current WIP status or not.
IMHO it could be really helpful when organizing one's roms accordingly.

Re: RomCenter 3.57 released
Hi,
I was facing the same issue (duplicates) and some more using MAME WIP 0.142u2 datfile imported from Emulator.
When I changed the samples mode to "un-merged" this disappeared.
After upgrading from an earlier version of romcenter (don't remember which, maybe 3.52) to latest 3.57, some issues ...

Re: Romcenter 3 wishlist
Hi,
looking through the board I have found a post saying that it was planned in RC3 to implement kind of a properties Window for all roms which would show the current game's status like "not working" or "playable".
Is this available with RC3.20 and if yes, where? I didn't really find it.

Re: access violation at addy 0060A0F6 in module 'romcenter.exe'.
Hi,
I recently had the same issues, here is how to reproduce:
1. Have all roms/games filter icons enabled (show all)
2. Add any rom path, containing some correct files and some files to fix
3. Now click "Show/Hide correct files" leaving only the files needing fixes
4. Select all and choose "Fix ...

Re: Version 3.00 beta 1 released
OK I didn't see this change from the programmatic way, just usability-wise.
Anyway regarding the SQL statement issue I mentioned earlier, some more input:
- workaround for the settings not being saved: just set everything BEFORE you add any rom pathes and then EXIT and RESTART RC.

Re: Version 3.00 beta 1 released
Ini file move to "userappdata" windows directory. But you can put it elsewhere by editing the file
romcenter/startup.ini
Thanks for the info. Maybe there could be another dialog in the settings which lets one edit it from the UI?
multiple rows in singleton select
I tried what you did, but ...

Re: Version 3.00 beta 1 released
Thanks for the update.
I believe there are some issues with this build, pls. see my findings below:
- Upgrade of 3.00a7 didn't work properly. After having installed b1 I saw that the ini's are not stored in the same location as before. I remember seeing a note that it can be configured, but where ...

3.x Samples location
Hi,
in 3.x I noticed that samples are expected to be located in the rom's archive instead of the \samples directory below the root of the emulator.
Is this a global MAME change or is it RC-specific?
Thx

3.x DAT Update
Hi,
when using the DAT update functionality in 3.x I'd recommend to also save the location of the last chosen emulator in case the DAT is going to be imported from an emulator. From my POV this would really enhance this update feature in terms of usability.
Thx
Davy

3.x Filters
Hi there,
is it possible to add more filters to your application?
For me personally it would be great to be able to set a filter for "Not Working" roms (like in MAME32) because your filter "Playable" seems to reflect only content & consistency of rom packages, but not their actual emulation status ...

Inconsistencies with ROMs using MERGED mode
Hi,
I have a small collection of ROMs which are so far stored in SPLIT mode.
Due to the fact that I wanted to reduce the disk space used I tried to MERGE them.
Problem: each and every DAT I either create or download from Logiqx shows some inconsistencies which result in deletion of specific roms ...

RC 2.71 error when loading DAT of MAME 0.117u1
Hey there,
I had imported the DAT information from MAME32 0.117u1, worked like a charm.
When switching to this DAT inside the MAME GUI, RC raises an error message when loading my list of ROMs out of the given pathes with message:
"Access violation at address 004AB8CF in module 'romcenter.exe ...
