Re: qbert auditing bug
Hi.
Was the datafile created from your MAME 0.274 exe or downloaded from somewhere? Check it (the original dat, not the RC database) for this game and see if the CRCs for these roms are what RC reports.

Re: Question scan my roms mame with romcenter
the official dat of mame 273 is not the same as the one created by the non merged fulset downloaded in pleasuredome
I don't know if mame has non merged dat
IIRC, it does. Check this post . I'd suggest you set both options to "Ignore" and then recheck your roms ( DON'T FIX , just check). If ...

Re: question yellow roms bad name
What configurantion i Mark in this options?
In this window, you define how you wish RC to treat the names it finds in each case.
- Files are the game files (zip)
- Rom are the roms contained in the game files
For each on these two, you can define that you wish their names to:
- Set the ...

Re: Question result scan roms with romcenter x arcade64 emulator
It all depends on what is defined in the datafile. Maybe the Arcade64 datafile has the same rom with a different case...

Re: question yellow roms bad name
In my case, even with the changed name, the ROM is a 100% legitimate dump of the contents inside the cartridge's eprom or is the ROM altered?
Yes. "The ROM is a 100% legitimate dump of the contents inside the cartridge's eprom" as you say, when the checksums in the datafile match the checksums ...

Normally, it should. You could also generate the 0.273 database from mame itself to be more sure.

Re: Question scan my roms mame with romcenter
I'm not sure i understand the question. Romcenter (RC) is capable of detecting all of the file types you mention, as long as they have been properly defined in the datafile. A datafile generated by MAME itself should have proper definitions, so RC should detect all these types. If it has been ...

Re: question yellow roms bad name
RoboCop v ersus The Terminator (USA).sfc for RoboCop V ersus The Terminator (USA).sfc?
Sometimes, the case of a rom is different in the zip file than in the datafile. Romcenter picks that and marks the rom as yellow. The rom is indeed valid, it just needs renaming. I can't open RC right now but ...

Re: question yellow roms bad name
A Yellow rom means that in your datafile, this rom exists (the CRC/SHA of this rom matches an entry in the datafile) but with a different name. You have to Fix the game in order for the roms to be renamed to their proper name (as it exists in the datafile). Check the wiki for more info on the matter ...

I'm not asking about the issue, i'm asking if you also have a Windows VM on a Linux host and run RC from there.

Re: an item with same key already added
OK, without touching your existing RC installation, can you try it with this version? Place it in a different folder, run it and then just add the folder and see what happens. If it works, try backing up your roms and test it further.
Remember, it's still a beta version, could have serious bugs...

OK, that's strange. When you posted the dat, i performed a similar task but with a folder with files from an emulator, which was not empty. The folder appeared normally, with all its contents gray of course, since they were not relevant to the dat.

Re: an item with same key already added
OK, i checked all files, there is nothing that is obviously wrong, so this is something that only Eric can answer via code debugging.
A suggestion i have personally tried in similar cases is to create an empty data folder, add it to RC and add files gradually in it and refresh it in RC. That way ...

Re: an item with same key already added
I'm also getting this exact error with official Redump IBM - PC compatible DATs for the last year or so. If you go back to one from a few years ago it works fine. For example "IBM - PC compatible - Datfile (17435) (2019-04-03 13-07-38).dat" works without the error. I can't attach it because .dat ...

Looking forward to a new release. Hopefully opensourcing the project will attract contributors and result to it remaining active for a long time.
