I have a set of no-intro 3ds roms. Decrypted. Named properly using the no-intro naming convention. (looked inside the dat to make sure).
Romcenter (the dat) pegs them all as an unknown game. Evidently due to the CRC not matching.
I'm unsure if the decryption process is what alters the crc, or what ...

Re: How does romcenter handle CHD files?
TY for info on the new release
As for chd's I meant in regard to non mame stuff.
aka, ive converted my sega cd bin/cue files into chd. Will they still scan in/line up with the dat files or does being chd change the parameters romcenter uses for identification?

How does romcenter handle CHD files?
I'm in the process of converting preeetty much everything that can be converted to CHD.
Just wondering if romcenter will still peg it as OK with the dat, or if i just royally screwed myself?

Re: Is this a bug? Selecting region turns all roms to "incomplete-rom missing"
excellent, and apologies for the double report
any idea when to expect the final release? No hurry of course, I only ask so i know that if/when I run up against the problem again (i havent gotten to NES yet
) to deal with it by hand, or wait for the release.

Re: Is this a bug? Selecting region turns all roms to "incomplete-rom missing"
seems like maybe its not loading the atari plugin on the second attempt? Or its already loaded and theres a bug with the dat or romcenter. Ive tried several iterations/versions and they all produce the same result (of atari roms) and the likilihood of a set of atari roms from 30 years ago being bad ...

Is this a bug? Selecting region turns all roms to "incomplete-rom missing"
So ive used the same process for all my sets. Fix with romcenter, then update the dat to only include USA/World releases. Re-fix, and go about life happy.
I use the no intro 1G1R xml dats fwiw.
So im on to atari 7800. I run the initial check against the whole set. They all come back as ok. nothing ...

also thank you for providing a portable version <3 I run anything i can portable and in the emulation realm, not being portable = likely not being used by me.

Re: Deleted files/roms etc, where do they go?
yea, i do keep a backup JIC. ive learned the hard way too many times. With larger sets (when i get into the disc based stuff) thats gonna be more problematic so ill likely test small batches.
More on topic though - I just ran a dat against a 32x set, and configured it to only keep USA and World. As ...

Deleted files/roms etc, where do they go?
Ugh, so i just had a buncha stuff sorted into folders (unlicensed/prototypes etc) that I couldnt find a means to omit from parsing with a 1g1r dat. I figured that was making the best of the situation.
I re ran romcenter and clicked fix without thinking. Ended up deleting all of the folders and the ...
