There haven't been any news on version 4 lately. Is this project on hold due to real life or loss of interest?

Sorry, my mistake. It turns out my DAT file itself does not have samples.

For that matter, I was wondering why logiqx hasn't released his usual dats for mame 0.139.
anybody has a clue, or have I missed something.

Hi, I've just installed v3.53 but now I can't specify the samples folder as that part is grayed out.
