Hey zup!
Maybe I'm misunderstanding your needs, but...
Why don't you try to setup your set using the arcade-only DAT for MAME 0.220?

Error in database filtering

I'm trying to remove some ROMs from a MAME installation, so I've tried to use filtering.

I'm using Romcenter 4.0.1 and official MAME64 0.220, and using these filtering options:

On Games tab:
- Games filtering: Checked.
- Games filter: All.
- Type: All options checked.
- Status: All options checked except verified (is grayed/unchecked).
- And which to exclude: Mechanical and Slots... are checked, Preliminary, Imperfect and Empty games are unchecked.

On Regions tab:
- Regions: Unchecked (I don't want to use region filtering).

After creating the database and adding some rompaths, I've found that many devices for computers (i.e.: spectrum_mface1) are shown as "Unknown game", so I can't use Fix -> Remove useless files to get rid of fruit machines and pinballs.

What am I doing wrong?
