Adding a rom path with 10000 files to a mame db takes a logical amount of time (a few minutes). Changing those files from outside RC and then refreshing the path takes... forever! OK, i'm exaggerating but it takes quite some time. It might be more quick to close and reopen the path than the current "refresh" procedure is.
