It is a bug in rc3. It is fixed in the alpha 2 version (to be released soon).

I haven't counted them but your numbers seem similar to mine. I've tested it under Win2K so it's probably not OS-related.

I'm working in Windows XP SP2, and there are about 15 games that are in red, and about 40-50 in yellow.

I saw that too. It's comforting to know i'm not dreaming... :) BTW, what is your O/S?

I've tried in split mode, and some games are in yellow, and 005 is in RED, I've tried again the 2.71 version and all is OK.

This alpha version is locked in split mode. Maybe your other romcenter version is in a different mode ?
Chek which roms id red and if they are indeed missing in zip.

ok, Why romcenter says the roms are not OK in this version if in the old versions says all is OK?

by RomCenter » Sat Feb 03, 2007 11:34 am

No, you can't. Emulator is not enabled in this first version.
You can just load datafiles and fix roms.

by pachuezama » Fri Feb 02, 2007 8:26 pm

Well, I load the mame database, but I can't put PREFERENCES, and I can't try the mame emulator. The icons in the left of the window doesn't work, and same parts of the menu also.

by pachuezama » Fri Feb 02, 2007 7:01 pm

Excuse me, I've been doing the load instead the new. I'm now importing the database.

by pachuezama » Fri Feb 02, 2007 6:59 pm

I've downloaded the database for mame 0.111 and Romcenter says it's not a valid database and don't make anything.

by RomCenter » Fri Feb 02, 2007 12:03 pm

Which datafile are you using ?

Use a datafile from logiqx web site or create a datafile from mame.exe

by pachuezama » Fri Feb 02, 2007 11:36 am

Ok, I'm using a datafile from http://www.rommanager.com and Romcenter says that it's not a valid database file. ¿What I've to do now?.

by RomCenter » Thu Feb 01, 2007 9:47 am

How to install:

- Install mame or get a datafile and UNZIP it
- run romcenter 3
- click the menu 'new...' and follow the wizard
- wait till it finished (this is still long, count at least 15 min for mame)
- backup your roms
- Add rom path and you're ready.

It doesn't work for me. ¿what's the new database?. ¿Why don't load the roms path I put?.

Greetings.
